Larry,

I conversed with Ed's cat personally after his morning call to analysts. He agreed with my analysis on ANCR trading, pointing out that 90% of the trades on Monday were above the $7 level and that after a very minimal amount of shares (50K) pushed ANCR down to $6 5/16 the rest of yesterday's volume was on the upside, closing again above $7. With this is mind I decided to rebuy the second 1/3 of my trading shares today at $7 1/8 thereby reducing my cost basis to $7 1/4 with 1/3 left to go. Unfortunately Ed's Cat gave me no heads up regarding the Intel earnings warning after the bell which could throw a monkey wrench in my whole game plan... and I was going to send him some fresh tuna. Maybe he was withholding this info in light of my asking him a sensitive personal question. "Why did you cross the road?" He would not answer, only meowing at me disapprovingly. But I was just too curious, one of my cat-like vices. I got on the phone the rest of the day and polled a variety of analysts who follow his daily moves. I have posted the varied responses on the appropriate thread.
