There was a post by Gregor the other day on Jesus Financial. I suddenly saw something I hadn't seen before and wanted to talk to him about it. I saw it again in your post. Basically, it is this. Think about it. In heaven there was no concept of lust, let alone real sin. There was none. But what WAS there--greed for power. Satan was jealous of the power of God. He fell from heaven coveting the POWER. What is the evilest of all human attainments? Power. Utter power corrupts utterly. What goes with power? What is the next overriding greed? Money. What "generally" accompanies both, and has through time? Lust. And after that depravities and destruction for those that can't escape. The angels in heaven were incapable of lust. It probably was not within their sphere of understanding. But when they fell to earth with satan, they only had to step into a human body..... There is something mindboggling there. A serious warning to a world almost as depraved as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the days of Noah. We are a very close third right now, and everyone knows it.
