Alpha methyldopa is an anti hypertensive.(blood pressure med)

It is very inexpensive and will cost no more than $0.10 a pill.

I think a unit is one pill and would assume this until I was told

differently. 1mil X .1 = $100,000.

Furosemide is generic lasix. It is a diuretic. (water pill.)

Third world countries and HMO'S

tend to use generics. The cost is about the same as alpha-

methyldopa. Hope this clears up some misunderstandings.
