VLSI's 7% interest in ARM could have some value if ARM floats on the Nasdaq as reported in the Sunday Times Newspaper ( UK) on 21 December 1997.

Link to article dated 21 December 1997.

sunday-times.co.uk.

If you can not link direct to this page go to

sunday-times.co.uk

and complete the free registration, then checkout the back issues.

Obviously Acorn ( ACN on London Stock Exchange ) (43%) and Apples ( APPL ) (43%) share in ARM will benefit them to a far greater extent.

Good news such as the agreement between Intel ( INTL ) and ARM over the production of StrongArm will make ARM stock very hot when it floats.

Does anyone have an update on the newspaper article, have seen nothing in the UK press since this article.

NetChannel maybe the next target for America On Line (AOL). See link

acorn.com

Does any new info about this?

I am surprised the ARM article has not been commented on in SI since its release.
