Thanks for the dialog on options expiration -- good point to keep in mind. Having sold out some at low seven (for better, unique short term opportunity) and at 9 (profit taking at what I guessed was a short term peak) I am anxious to get back in at low sevens... which could happen -- until the q2 numbers blow folks away.

long term threat is still MSFT. the 7.0 sql server beta is getting exposure, and is a COMPLETE re-write. all those db experts that were hired re-did everything (gotta admire someone that spends that much money to 'do it right' ) in 6.x. I still laugh when the marketing junk says it "was built with data warehousing in mind" and sxxx like that, but the reality is that "sphinx" is a solid step toward -- one day -- real NT database apps on the scale now only possible with unix boxes and mainframe/teradata/redbrick/etc...

If you will go back about 100 posts, you will see where I said I thought Graham was shorting his stock. Now he has explained why he wants the price to go down. He has his own unique way of bad mouthing the stock. Hang in there this stock is going to go UP.
