The NYT reported yesterday that while many Korean companies are selling or cutting back on their US operations and subsidiaries, "LGE has no attention of selling Zenith. We're in it for the long haul", according to an LGE spokesman. It also reported that LGE just sponsored a $1.2 million LG golf tournament in Naples, FL while Samsung closed its US headquarters. Samsung or LGE? My bet is that Intel is looking very hard at LGE, a much better run corporation.
