Vic, **OFF TOPIC**
>> I have some speculative money on Acclaim. I think they are beginning to realize what it takes to succeed in this business.<<

One thing I don't like AKLM is its relatively high operation expense. However I believe it has a good chance to make new high in short term, long term I remain neutral. I am more comfortable with the proven ability of THQI's management. It has much lower risk compare to AKLM although I agree "some speculative money" may not be a bad idea.

Tim: my timing is as good as you. I bought SMTC at $22.X, right before it retreated back to $19.X the next couple days. As long as you buy the "right" stock, it doesn't matter you pay a little more.

Todd: Looks like COMS's ascending triangle is resolved.

Vic, Todd, what do you two think about tomorrow? Look to test $26 with the 'DAQ down thirty at the open? I do think our MMs love to just stand away from the bids whenever the going gets tough.

Also, remind me what your estimates were for MacPax? I'm currently disappointed in the distribution of the product. It doesn't seem to be making the kind of push into the small Mac shops like it should nor the mail order catalogs. And I just got the latest copies of the Mac magazines in the mail today and no advertisements for the game. So it looks like the one full page ad in last month's MacAddict is it.

Since THQ is conservative and probably won't ship more than they think the game will reasonably sell, are we now looking at 15,000 copies of this title? I assume it will sell well at CompUSA but elsewhere it looks anemic.
