Intel does NOT make the majority of motherboards if that's what you mean. They make virtually all of the high-end chipsets found on motherboards, but their boards have SUCKED in the past. They are not highly integrated designs and appear to be vehicles to get rid of aging capacitors that look like grain silos. They are regarded as SLOW by the hotrodders and used as a last resort. ASUS mainboards blow them away. Hmmph. Sorry if you were referring to an i740 chip vehicle. urp GO DIMD!!!!!!!!!!
