Did you read my follow-up message ? This rule only applies to pennies. So get as excited as you want. Not everyone who invests in the stock market lives for trading in and out of pennies. So rather than go balistic, let everyone make their own broker decisions. I see plenty of ads for others and have considered opening up an online trading account just for pennies.

Here's something to ponder -- during the Oct crash & rebound, many on-liners were shut out of trading. Most Schwab'ers got through via web or phone.

I'm guessing at this point most readers of this thread have had enough of the broker talk.

I didn't know it was a problem, I work so I don't usually buy and sell all day, but now, I will be changing brokers.
