Investor's Business Daily ran a nice big article on page A6 about Fiber and new telcos. Outlined were the plans of Williams Co., Qwest, Level 3, and AT&T. Huge mention that PKS=KIWT=L3. IBD has an astute, small readership. They probably contributed to yesterday's rise.

Omaha World Herald Wednesday, March 4,1998 RCN Completes Purchase RCN Corp. of Princeton N.J.,has completed the purchase of UltraNet Communications Inc., a Boston-based Internet provider,for $7.8 million in cash and $19.2 million in stock. Level 3 Communications, formerly Known as Kiewit Diversified Group of Omaha, owns a large stake in RCN.
