More direct observation reporting from a newbie.....

Yesterday, I visited 2 more Wal-Marts and a Target. Here are the results:

1. At the first Wal-Mart, still 70% Tiger and about 20% Radica. All the Bass Fishing game hooks empty. A few Deep Sea and Lunker Bass games left. I talked to the department manager, who said more of everything is on "back order" from Christmas and they have never been able to get enough to satisfy demand.....she said the Junior Bass was selling out as soon as it arrived.

2. 2nd Wal-Mart, slightly better. 30% Radica, 60% Tiger. All games but Bass Fishing in stock, but quantities limited.

3. Target - everything sold to the wall except casino games. No fishing games and the manager said every time they get them in, they are gone in a day.

Question: Do you think this is a regional situation? Is the company intentionally limiting supply to drive up demand? If so, I think it's a mistake. Keep the midnight oil burining in China and let's get those games back in stock.

I haven't heard from either Chaz, but did invite TMF and sent them a release - obviously busy folk.
