I like the following quote:

<3Com is integrating CSI capabilities into its WAN access, routing, ATM networking and remote access platforms. The resulting solution can extend all the way to the desktop and enhance the policy-based networking and service management capabilities of its TranscendWare software. Enterprise customers will be able to select and provision classes of service from their service providers in a timely, reliable and cost-effective way. As CSI deployment grows, the over 100 million end-user desktops connected by 3Com will find high-performance, class of service-based solutions within their reach.>

There is a smart person named MF Mom who thinks provisioning is going to be REAL important. I think CSI gives coms/nn/siemens a huge competitive advantage. The 100-million end-user desktops don't hurt either. I am expecting to hold NN for a long, long time!

look at these three announcements, and what feeling do you get ??

Looks as though they have their bases covered. Do you know anyone with CSI products to equal these?
