OT+OT+OT+OT [ U.S.Economy ] Somebody get that 'yield' below 6% please
as we need the money here in the stock market.

Lee,

You know, I fail to see (at least for right now) what all the'hooplah' is about the U.S.Economy. As I see it the U.S economy is growing at a sustainable level, the evidence thus far supports this argument.

LEI -remained unchanged

Housing start- Up 10% for Jan but Dec revised # show it was down -9%

CRB Index-inching doward, has been doing so for the last couple of years.

So i don't even know why the 'long bond' is above 6%, probably due to the 'housing' numbers. Now if the employment numbers are going to be strong come Friday, the yield probably will go higher probably slowing down the stock market a bit.But then again they tell us any wage pressures are kept in check by an astounding increase in productivity and efficiency the likes of which we have never seen before. If anyone area is growing on an unsustainable level it is being neutralized by another.

So all I am saying is, I don't know what the heck is going on.I wish
the yield comes down below 6% so that we can keep the equity markets going for a while.
