Well, you may have something there but what proportion of his total holdings does this sale represent (is it material)?

Is it possible that he needed the funds for some personal purpose (maybe most of his personal wealth is tied up in the stock or house etc., so he had to liquidate)?

Clearly the sale indicates he is as bad at market timing as the rest of us. If he had waited a bit he could have gotten $10 more (although selling while you are presenting at an investment conference would be extremely bad form if not illegal).

Don't think sales are a big deal.

These guys have been locked up for such a long time due to the acquisitions they have done (pooling restrictions, etc.) they they have had very little chance to diversify their portfolios. Insider sales by management team have been negligible, think they were just taking advantage of window opening up to gain some liquidity on small portion of overall holding.

My opinion.
