enigma, I think most of the people on the thread are very much aware of the difficulties of dealing with a major such as Barrick. What we are also aware of, unfortunately, is that there has also been a distinct lack of clarity by PFG management. We have also been given drill reports that leave more questions than they answer. Too many times we have waited for months for drill results, that when they do arrive, do not explain why there are obvious holes left out or other such gaps. These could be explained by management quite easily, but seldom are. It took us a long time to find out what happened to the 12 DD holes, for instance. Yet they could have told us from the outset and it would have negated all the irritation and questions that left the shareholders with more questions than answers. The reality is that if they were more forthcoming and shared information that is not under Barrick's control and that is not sensitive, and did it in a clear and concise manner, the whole environment would change.

For instance PFG has at least ten other properties, which we hear absolutely nothing about ie: their plans for them. La Colorada sat in limbo with nary a word from management for months, with no one knowing what was happening to the property, either by way of j.v or some geo work or drilling etc. This had been a property thought to have high potential and had majors in contact with old management looking to a j.v. and then there was basically silence until recently.

Cerro Blanco was another one thought to have great potential, and after the initial drilling program, there was some conjecture on the part of management that they may j.v. this. Since then I don't know of any news as to their intentions for this property, which also adjoins Diablillos on the N.E.end. We are all aware of an option payment coming due on this property and yet we have no idea whether they will pick it up or walk away. We also do not know whether they are going to continue to acquire properties, or work on the ones that we have. It seems to me that a summary of their plans are not state secrets and would go a long way to answering questions that all prudent shareholders have.

If there has been somewhat soured relations with management it is with some reason. We are not here to bash management, but on the other hand, we would like to feel that since we plunked our money down, we deserve to be kept informed. I really don't think that is too much to ask. I don't think we could be called an anti-managment group either, just ticked at times, with their reticence to share what they are able to.

Yes, we think the Diablillos has some future or we wouldn't have hung on so long. That decision had to be made by our knowledge of many factors and a lot of the initial decision to stay was due to the information we had received about the results and geology prior to their coming on board. Yes, we were all happy when they joined the company and thought that it was a real coup for PFG. But, when the stock falls to the degree this one has, you want information more than ever. You want to know what their ongoing plans are, and the possibilities for the future. That is the only way that you can make a reasoned decision whether to move on or stay.

Yes, you're absolutely right this is not a private club or clique and the good people on this thread welcome new people to the thread very warmly, I think. It is no ones private fiefdom or domain and everyone is entitled to an opinion or a viewpoint. I think the only ones we resist are the type who occasionally drop in to tell you that this is a dog stock and other such opinions with no reasoning behind their rash statements. Any opinion can be made, but I think if they drop in merely to trash without the reason for their negative attitude then their is little validity to their opinion.

By the way, here are those links that I mentioned in my last post to you:

Here's to clarity and truth.
