My name is as stated on my identity. Thanks to Mr. Surckla for pointing out some inconsistencies in TQ statements. I had not been following the thread very long when I decided to sell my CRUS holdings, after which I didn't visit any more. I did not read all the messages. However, the doomsayers were right in terms of the precipitous drop from the mid-20s. I have come back because I continued to track the stock price, and I see it starting to bounce at a bottom. So I am contemplating going long or else selling puts six months out. But before I make that move, I would be interested in hearing some well reasoned fundamentals. The "chip of the month" approach is too short term. What is popular today is overcome by some other silicon wizard tomorrow. Since there are so many companies of the CRUS size, I would like to know how CRUS differs from them in a positive way with regard to competitiveness. Without a truly innovative, breakthrough product, I think it is a commodity market. Whoever has the cheapest chip this month gets the business.
