David, I spoke briefly with Dave Archibald either the day Cal resigned or the day after. Based more on the way Dave Archibald responded rather than specifically on what he said, it was my firm conclusion that he (Dave Archibald) didn't have a clue that Cal was departing. Dave Martinson

I council patience at this point. There's nothing more to do, or say, until we get closer to the time-frame indicated by VLNC. Oh, yeah...wait and continue to accumulate. Hey, that's a nice chant, "Wait and accumulate!!" Alright everybody, on threeeeeee.... Heh! I will say one thing, I don't have any children, but have developed a new set of sympathies for expectant fathers awaiting the birth of their first born. This is kind'a where we are with VLNC, eh? That is....."Come ooooonnnnn, give birth to that first mass produced battery will ya already?????" But while we wait, if you're into 21st Century Tech. then take a look at a Canadian company called Ballard(BLDPF). It's share price is jumpin' thru the roof right now. They're on the "bleeding" edge of fuel cell technology development and appear to be doing everything right. They just might be a force to reckon with come 2004. Just so you know, I've been a holder of 'em since they were in the $20's......I can only hope VLNC does half as well..... Regards! John~
