Larry,
I left a bit on the table selling my shares but, went for it and now have gone to puts and bought 40 april 35's MUPG's at 2 5/8.
A gamble on one hand but have some time for the earnings and DRAM softness to sink in over the next couple of weeks. My goal here is two points.
I guess I am driving a stake in the ground saying I think Micron is at a high and has nowhere to go except down. My thinking is the 64M softness is real as well as 16M sync and this will not be good for anyone in this business especially Micron. Micron will emphasize in their earnings that they will move more quickly to 64M than stated last quarter and this should help their next qtr earnings, but the 64M
price erosion is not going to allow Micron to have any benefit of profit even with a small die, you also must have good yields and get on the learning curve. They have been building 64M edo but with the new 64M sync will take them some time to get down the curve. I think that will be the flaw in their positiveness in their earnings report.
Of course this is my opinion and do not pretend to be any expert here,
good luck
I would appreciate your chart expertise, and what possible analyst comments could affect Micron.

Larry, I have not been on thread today, because my computer has been neutral, so I have been researching the past two years of TK, as I save my Telescan charts daily.
As to the down channel, I have the top line a little higher than you, with today at about 36. I feel that MU remains in the down channel.
I have been waiting patiently for a sell signal, so that I can go short, and MAY get it late today.
I'm happy to see more traders. RR is trading. Chas is close to a trader, and like his volume of options.
The downside is, we all can not trade together or we effect the price. As much as MU trades, it sometimes gets a spread as much as 1/4 and volumes of 2000 or less moves the price. Some of my market orders have split prices now, and will get worse as my volume grows.
I try and place my order when I see the volume at the bid or ask bigger than my order, hoping to get it, but sometimes, it is grabbed before mine, and I get it 1/8 point worse than expected.
Anyway, I remain biased to the downside, and hope to go short by tomorrow morning.
Patrick
