415 2524700, you have to be a subscriber.
He talked to company and said they were surprised with J&J move. They will be supported for next 6 months. 25% reduction of work force which is currently around 260. Trial results will be made public 4th quarter, MM said he advised them to wait before finding another partner.Said company was positive of good results and J&J claims their decision has nothing to do with technology.Thinks stock will quickly go back to 4-5.Thinks Amln will look back upon this as positive.

I wonder if J&J isn't looking at AGN again???

Is anyone else having trouble with SI, it took me 15 min to pull your message.

<<< I called his 900# yesterday, he said to 'buy', for a 'quick' recovery, and that AMLN should be back above $5 by August. >>>

Yeah, and if you believe that, Murphy's got just the newsletter for you!

It doesn't take much intuition to realize that AMLN won't perform until it releases clearly positive Phase III data for Type I. Data from the Type I Euro trial to be released in 4thQ98 is, for all practical purposes, their last chance for pramlintide. Given the marginal data released last Aug., this is a coin toss.

I don't mean to sound sarcastic; I'm just amazed (not surprised) at Murphy's comments.
