Addi..so well put! Everyone was talking about how semis led the market in percentage gain...but wow...look what happened to them the past 8 months. Huh????!! Those who follow this stock on a daily basis are better off trading the stock. Not frenetic trading, mind you, but just 2 or 3 well-defined buy/sell activities in a year. Those who don't care about the short-term are better off not following its fortunes every hour of every day. Either of the above is fine. But anything in between these two is self-inflicted torture. It is ridiculous to groan that the stock is not making new highs when the market is making new highs! After all, at one point of time, this stock was trading at more than 30 times estimated earnings. Can you tell me when the overall market has traded at those levels? Dipy.
