Ameritrade is the one that tacks on $5 for a limit order...Suretrade claims to charge only $7.95 for any limit or market order up to 5,000 shares. And they don't increase the fee for touchtone orders like Ameritrade. I did check the Suretrade thread here on SI and there are both good and bad comments. There does seem to be a couple of issues that might make a person decline to open an account with them. But the $16 dollar round trip is very tempting!
