Dear Datek in case you haven't noticed you are being trashed all over the internet. Chat rooms and bulletin boards are overflowing with comments in regard to your ineptness. An example I put in a limit sell order on a stock at 10 when the stock is 10 3/16x 10 1/4. 100shr are filled at 10 3/16 the remaining 700 remain open for 3 min until the bid falls to 10 1/16 at which time the order is filled. Why couldnt my order get filled during those 3min? How come my order sat until the bid dropped low enough to match a buyer on island. People want orders executed promptly at the prevailing price. They dont want there orders sitting until the stock drops an 1/8 so you get an island match. Also 20 share fills numerous partial fills are now the norm and not the exception.

Bill

Hi Terence,

I'm using build 4 of 1.2, and can't seem to get any of the Datek servers working properly this morning. Bid and ask seem close, while everything else is garbled. (Anyone else having these problems? I bet datek has done some more tinkering.)

Also, I e-mailed you a while back about using WSX on my notebook. Did you ever receive this? Be happy to resend.

TIA,

Dave

Terence, I work somewhere where its ok for those with internet access to do alittle surfing and trading once in a while but all hits are loosely monitored. Does this utility generate a constant stream of hits that someone monitoring my usage may deem excessive. I assume every minute or so you make a call to datek. If so I may have to save this for home usage only. I can't wait to try it, thanks Brent
