Return on equity
Share repurchases by the co
Insider stock buying and ownership
Franchise value
Monopoly market leadership

you're absolutely correct Howard...and I have absolutely no doubt
that Triby will show them the money with their 4th qtr/yr #'s...
3rd qtr was a record for Triby and the 4th will be even better
the Celtic Tigers are puttin up some impressive numbers...the market
will respond when they see 'em....Long Triby since '94 ... :-) Ron

Howard thanks for the reality check. Your comments make sense. Trouble with some investors is that looking at sales/earnings growth only is only a step above handing over our money to a mutual fund and what fun is there in that. HAHA

Some investors/speculators, myself included, find that search for a future jewel more rewarding than being a passive investor. I will admit that over the last 3 years I could have made a lot more $$$ in the market if I had invested passively in many mutual funds or in individual blue chip stocks. This would have been the smart thing to do. But in the long haul I still prefer to be in control of all aspects of my investing and at some point do believe a jewel or two will pop up that will surpass the losses or my duds.
