per S & P stock reports............. report dated 4/28/98 We hold neutral near-term and positive longer-term outlooks for the data storage segment. Today's computers are able to utilize increasingly large amounts of stored information, and will need additional data storage capacity in order to use more sophisticated software and to operate in more complex multi-user environments. Unit demand for many classes of data storage products remains healthy. The demand for disk drives remains healthy, especially in the desktop market.
