Why do certain individuals refer to Covington as being "brain dead"? Just because it lacks L2 cache or is there some other fundamental difference in the chip? I see many if not most sub-zeros are sold without L2 cache. Doesn't Convington run at 266 Mhz and therefore will be faster than a pentium 233 in a system without L2 cache? I don't see how producing a cheap P2 solution for the sub-zero category is a brain dead business strategy.
