Actually, I think the stock has dropped to let me out of my final Aug 17.5 puts, which I sold first thing this morning. Now that I'm not protected on the downside (I have stock and calls), we can expect the stock to drop precipitously. I hope I'm just kidding about this last, but I've seen this sort of thing happen in the past once I've sold a position.

More seriously, CNBC this a.m. was talking about MU's upgrade, and about earnings warnings from other semis. Atmel may be suffering from such earnings warnings, and indeed folk out there may expect more bad news from Atmel et al. Or it may just be that, because I'm no longer protected on the downside, the stock can be expected to plummet. Cheers/t
