stephen..I had this same slow SI response time yesterday as well. Someone should let CPQ's server sales department know. Do you suppose it is a DELL?

From CBS MarketWatch.... << Compaq Computer Corp. (CPQ) remained in negative territory after BancAmerica Robertson Stephens warned the Street's consensus estimate is likely to fall as a result of near-term uncertainty at the company. The firm cited pricing pressure in North America, higher-than-anticipated channel inventory and slowing in Europe. The firm expects lower-than-expected revenue and earnings as a result, as well as erosion of gross margins. Furthermore, BA Robertson Stephens believes the acquisition of Digital Equipment Corp. could dilute fiscal 1998 earnings by as much as 8 cents a share.
