Stocky, <solid data on chip wafer yields is still weeks away said Scott Allen of AMD on Feb 5>
What is the date today, Stocky? Or you don't know how to cut and paste the full sentence? Or alzheimer's problems too?
You are a dirty manipulator of information, stocky.

Interesting argument. Wish we really knew the "facts".
AMD has been trying, since April, to get yield up -That's one hell of along time in the fast moving, hi-tech arena. The sub $1000 computer has come and gone and passed AMD by while they are trying to learn how to make chips. The sub $500 computer is the hot subject now and we have an announcement AMD is STILL suffering from yields while box makers are screaming for this low cost item. Even some major box makers have elected to "try" other than Intel processors and there is the socket battle- To make a long story short, a company couldn't have picked a worse time or scenario in which to stumble. Either they shouldn't have announced the product until they figured how to make it
or they should turn in their jock strap if the next announcement is more of the same. On the other hand there is the possibility of the ploy you suggest..... only time will tell.

StockMan - Re: "Based on the above facts, I think AMD will reach $75 soon."

I think it will too.

I wonder why nobody (Addi excepted) on the AMD threads is buying this stock like crazy - it has so much potential.
