as i said on an earlier post, i like the people at the meeting i was at doubt redux as a cause of serious, permanent valvular damage.
however, it is in the same class as phen/fen, thus is a accomplice.

there were also several reports of people who continued taking phen/fen despite sign/symptoms of valve damage because they were averse to regaining the weight they had lost.

it will be a nightmare to separate the different cases during litigation.

a cardiologist from canada who shall remain nameless, specializing in this field of echocardiography, was offered 600,000/yr for a ten yr minimum by a group of class action attorneys, to leave his practice and devote his life to this case.

he refused because he hates lawyers.
i don't know, i might have accepted 6 million for a somewhat justifiable lawsuit.
