Michael, # of hops on their internal network are not going to cause you problems. Its mostlikely over a local area network and may even be in the same router. Are you really suggesting that the modify their internal network design so that your traceroute shows less hops??? Suggesting this without knowledge of their network setup is useless. If NAQ wants to publish their network setup in detail I would glad to give them some free consulting on optimizing it. I think they have much bigger real problems to fix than # of hops on their internal network. BTW: I am typically 15 hops to the internet from my house but I will bet I still have lower latency and higher throuhput that 99.9% of people dialed up to their ISP's..... Sean
