Yes, I agree it would be a DUMB move right now in view of what's occurring, but it COULD result in much better pricing in the future for CPQ. I don't think CPQ would acquire here, it would be a cash infusion. I do think the whole thing is really a shot in the dark taking into account how much CPQ has bitten off lately, just thought I'd pass it on.... John CPQ now down 3/4, Dell up 4. Ugh!!! Another 1B in market cap down the drain while Dell adds 1.4B.
