Lee, I suspect that with all the speculation surrounding CPQ [i.e., stuffing the channel & the merits of the DEC acquisition] the flow of new money coming into the market will be diverted to DELL and, possibly, HWP. I also believe that some institutional holders are pulling out of CPQ [big block sales]and parking it in DELL.

The pullback Monday & yesterday will allow DELL, in my view, to test new highs after the split. Normally, the pressure to realize profits after a split would have been enormous given the phenomenal run-up DELL has experienced.However, this week's profit taking may have taken the urgency out of a post-split pull-back.
