You're not supposed to remove IE. You're supposed to drive around in a car with 2 radios. Just ignore the factory-installed one that is dangling just over the stick shift. Besides, you'll still need the factory-installed radio, because when you turn on the windshield wipers, it automatically turns on the factory-installed radio to the MSFT Captive-X weather channel.
