To take a systemic treatment a pill for a very localized problem would seem risky. The publicity from Viagra can only help the sales of vvus in the long run. It is the MDs doing the prescribing and muse is said to be safer than a pill(viagra). Shorting a stock when it is near its 52 week low is not smart.

My guess is VVUS will end up in single digits before it ever sees mid teens. I mean how much more plainly does the CEO have to say it? He basically said we have little hope for the next couple of quarters at least. Hey, that's plain enough for me.

Here is my interpretation of the situation: There are few people on this thread who think PFE will not get approval. In fact, I don't no anybody who doubts approval and most of us are long a competing product (VVUS). If the majority of people share this opinion, my guess is it is built into the price. I think the stock will not move much upon approval of PFE. However, if for some act of god, they get rejected, you will see VVUS double, IMHO. Don't forget, if things haven't changed much, the co. is sitting on about $3/ share. Also, FWIW, Zack's has upped their rating on VVUS to a 3. OOOH! Like it long, Colby
