Daewoo signed an MOU with GM last month which paves the way for a strategic alliance and future car projects. I doubt they'd be interested in BAT.

The Ukraine is looking for money and I doubt Daewoo could handle two partners with hands in its pockets in the same deal. Nice thought, close but no cigar.
