Analyst on CNBC saying that CPQ is a great longterm investment and tomorrow will present a very good entery point. short term there is some earnings pressure, but if you wanna put the stock away for a couple years it's a great investment. Says DELL's valuation is too high, but that like CPQ it will gain market share and if you have a long term time horizon, it's as good an investment as CPQ. S.

Rich et al -- anyone have instanet/afterhours quotes (besides Quote.com)? Just want to have some accurate figures so I can prepare the proper disaster formula of Jack Daniels and ice, to be followed by Zantac with a Maalox chaser (it really smooths the rough spots, I agree Rich). dp

Rich... I've been waiting for a pull back with pre-earning announcements that are negative. However, I didn't expect this announcement from INTC and so early. There will be more. I still see a Europe potential problem later in year. They have higher Asian exposure than US. Sold some tech stocks early this morning. I only have to readjust my strategy. The world market is becoming more competitive and technology will give corporations the competitive edge. This sector will recover, no need to worry unless one has a short horizon. I am animated outside, calm inside. Loki Should not have mentioned INTC gains earlier today <ggg>
