Dan, The usual answer to the monopoly question is the defense of innovation story" customers want speech recognition and articial intilligence" included in the operating system-you know artificial intelligence of the type reggie finds in Windows apps. So we had to rid the planet of a competing Browser first. Bill wants everyone to know he is protecting the right to innovate.And then he trots out the holy grail of speech recognition and articial intelligence and the laypersons in the audience are supposed to say 'wow'.Nothing new --just carefully crafted FUD. A monopoly situation is necessary in order for innovation to thrive because competition hampers innovation, really.
