"People are treating them like they're near-term sensitive to oil prices, which they are not, because these companies don't make their drilling decisions based on one quarter's oil prices," he said. Barbara Marcin, who manages about $750 million as senior equity portfolio manager at Citibank Global Asset Management, said she recently upped her weighting in energy service stocks. She sees attractive valuations in the group, noting that it has trailed the overall market for the last six to nine months despite solid fundamentals. Mandeep
