Remember Neware 5.0 has to be a Grand Slam...

Post to the bulls:

Study the SEC filings... read the dense boring filings and put them in a spreadsheet - spend the weekend with your money.....

This company is shrinking - it is shrinking fast - down 33% in revenues this quarter compared to last. Stop calling it a billion dollar company casue it ain't no more....

Netware 5.0 has to be huge - Bordermanager wasn't huge - Groupwise is pathetic - What exactly are all you people buying. All these new releases and sales still fall hard.

Do any of the bulls know anything about NT 5.0 - lets discuss 5.0 - I'm ready are any of you?

Someone - anyone - tell me all the reason 5.0 is going to be huge... Java, Javabeans? Why is it going to be such a hit? What do you feel the upgrade price will be? What about full price? How many copies of each will sell by each quarter and what will be the impact on earnings? Lets have some analysis by the bulls!

Enough TA - lets get down to fundamental analysis - What is the impact of 5.0 under three scenarios? Make it easy if you want - hold all else constant - Expenses and Sales of other products.

What is the net effect 5.0 is projected to have this year under:

1. Poor sales - you define poor

2. Decent Sales

3. Blockbuster sales.

Seriously can any of the recent additions to this thread operate a spreadsheet?

Ashame me - humble me with your wisdom - please make me look like and feel like a complete idiot for asking such a simple question.

I expect at least 2 projections - I really would like to know what's so attractive about Novell - in quantitative terms.... Numbers folks.

If any one has 10 grand or more riding on this puppy and they can't pull up a projected earnings statement they have on file in under one minute then they might as well hit Gulfstream for the Florida Derby with me next week. When I gamble I like to find out if I have won right away - gotta love the track.

How about it. Enough already - where's the analysis?

Why aren't we knocking heads over Netware 5.0 vs NT 5.0? That's worth while! Heck we can use NT 4.0 if you want!

Jim

Bored to death and looking to participate in intelligent discussion that will teach me something....

Although, there was "quite a bit" of action on DELL, INTC, CPQ, and some others. Tommorow's open on a whole bunch of stocks should be "Very Interesting".

Regards,

Joe...
