Michael, welcome to the thread. I agree in general with your assessment, that was more or lees the scenario proposed in November, except my timing stunk, I had the bond backing up just above six by Mid Feb and the market tanking with a temporary relief starting mid March. Somehow, the rise in the rate (due to repatriation of yens) was delayed (I think because of excess liquidity in our market soaking up dollars dumped by BOJ), and the February bath I expected turned into a super-rally. Maybe the scenario is still intact just delayed by a month and about 500 Dow points higher (VBG).
