S -- there was a post (and subsequent posts) on the Dell thread earlier about Dell's meeting today at 1pm ct with an analyst following which Dell went up (of course that's history now). Implication being that it's not Dell who's screwing intel's quarter. Of course, this could also mean that AMD has delivered more chips to cpq than intel. In any event, somebody at "the company" better step up to the mike tomorrow and either counter bad rumours or set things straight whatever they may be. Maybe lucy was just doling out the bad news slowly when she downgraded. She might downgrade again tomorrow and subsequently in careful incremental steps designed to avoid panic and mayhem. Of course, that's purely off the top of my head. But at this point ... . du
