What's the big deal on the 100 mhz bus? It makes the machine faster, but so what. It provides some multimedia features... what's that? (I've been wating to buy a PC also, but am still trying to figure out the significance of the 100 mhz bus).

Even more are probably waiting for PCs made to Intel's and MicroSofts's own PC 98 System Design Guide. By June 1998 all PCs shipped have to be PC 98 approved. One aspect of PC 98 is no more ISA Bus.
