American Eco conference call today with 1997 results was quite disappointing. However, I think the Eco bid for Dominion shares is still quite attractive, even at today's closing price of $2. See my longer post on this topic at

The prospects of Eco shares hitting the $15 conversion price for the proposed notes is now less likely to happen in the near future, but so long as Eco can afford to redeem the notes for the $3 cash at the end of the three years (and maintain interest payments in the interim), it is still an attractive deal for Dominion holders or those contemplating purchase of Dominion shares.
