<<<the downside is that this may lead us back towards a bearish tech sector market. the price may not necessarily bounce back, but possibly bounce lower on fears of the sector.>>>

Blank,

You have an important task tonight - be a big bear and keep a balanced perspective. That's if you don't mind.

You may be very right. I think the immediate future for tech stocks are quite unstable. Just two days ago, everybody is hoping "here comes 38-39 in no time". Now with the Intel warning, "here comes 30-32 buying opportunities". I wish I had bought a full straddle with 35 puts today. It might not be too late tomorrow just in case we see 20s again because it is hard to tell which way this stock goes in the next two weeks.

Blankmind --

You're right and I'll be patient.

INTC's weak earnings are not directly related to the networkers, nor will TXN's DRAM-related earnings be. However, this won't make any difference. The market will over-react and eventually sort itself out.

Look at all the fed numbers recently. The economy is booming. This weakness has mostly been factored in and if anything will keep the fed from raising.

All in my admittedly novice opinion.

Pat

All stocks, over a long time period, will construe to their fundamentals. Perhaps a tech slump will hurt ASND's price over the very near term, but certainly over the next 6 months or so, ASND will have bounced back (and then some).
