<< I think I will take a peek at the INTC thread.>>
<<<What are they saying?>>>

George,

INTC Thread:
1)At about 4:20pm this afternoon they quoted the announcement.
2) At 5:20pm to 6:00pm kept announcing the dive in price to about a low of 74.
3) After that the regulars where joking a little and talking about blood in the streets.
4) The last hour, trying to see if there will be a bounce as during the June 97 price drop.
5) One guy said he made good money last time (June 97)on the bounces. He said he was using options for a few months. Who knows.

In my humble opinion, March will be tough for INTC, but I don't think ASND will go up or down based on what INTC does in the next couple of weeks.

I think ASND is a 60+ stock by the end of this year.

One final thing about INTC, if you have been following the x.DSL thing, MSFT INTC CPQ AWRE and most all of the BSOC's want to have g.lite on the shelves by Christmas. If this happens, techs will have a very good second half of 98 and a great first half of 99.

It's going to be interesting to see what the damage is to my portfolio by tomorrow after 4:00pm.
It's diversified, but my favorite area is the techs.
INTC MSFT NN ASND INTC AWRE DELL CPQ.

Joe

This is the 5th straight miss for INTC, and reality is just starting to sink in among the INTC cheerleaders.
