Tomorrow could be bloody! INTC down in the low 70's on instinet after closing at 86 7/16. Probably be some great buying ops for unjustified panic selloffs tomorrow morning in unrelated techs.

[ EVI ]

Wow, that got knocked pretty hard today. I expected the merger agreement to be followed by arbitrage selling, but perhaps the extended decline portended something we did not expect from the combined entities.

When I first saw your post that mentioned the heavy put position you took in EVI prior to the news halt, I thought you must have taken my TA for a contrarian signal. I thought it was a stroke of genius, actually, after I found the price movement in relation to the Speed/Resistance lines (look at the EVI chart):

members.aol.com

That, followed by the Hanging Man candle that it was in the process of forming, and the overbought Stochastics made me think that you had an admirably gutsy call.

As for the charts, for as long as there is demand for it (and time), I will continue to update it.

Regards,

Rainier
