Michael: Nice post and my sentiments exactly. I didn't want to sell into this news, but neither could I risk there being substance to it. Faced with the need to be out of touch with the market for awhile today, I practiced your two rules: Preservation of capital is first and foremost. My hats off to those Machos who took advantage of the weakness. This scenario really sours me on the market, but then there is no honor among thieves and vipers, is there. I shall return for the finale. I suppose we will open tomorrow much higher. Se la vie.

These bums will get shut down and have a HUGE lawsuit slapped om them for slander and disinformation for comments like this.

asensio.com

How can the NASD or anyone have these guys continue making claims like this. Is there any justice in our system or is everyone in on short-selling.

Michael, your post was so balanced and thoughtful. Are you sure you're in the right forum? ;-) It's worth browsing Asenio's web site to get a feel for his business. If he's a "slimeball" as some of the more vociferous members of this forum proclaim, then he's a well-educated "slimeball" with an MBA from Harvard Business School. If you check out his Selected Performances page (http://www.asensio.com/selected.html) , you'll see that he isn't only interested in shorting opportunities - he also looks at undervalued situations.

If I had KRY shares (which I don't), I'd follow your advice and take some profits. Asenio may be wrong or he may be crooked, but I doubt he's stupid. I would be very surprised if he's left himself open to being sued successfully. He's been down this road many times before and apparently has emerged unscathed. In any event, this story just keeps getting juicier. Cheers.
