Where do you see it from now until Summer? If AMAT is going to be that low by summer, Fund Managers had better start selling because they got another 40% to clip off. Is that really realistic. Do you know what that PE is times 99 earnings? Who gives a rat's ass about 1st, 2nd, 3rd quarter earnings. Looking for 99 estimate revisions to see your 22-26 price target.

I don't think the mid 20s is unrealistic. I think it could stop above that, and that if it does hit those low numbers it'll be short-lived.

Remember that the current INTC problems (unlike more endemic ones at AMD) is related to box-maker inventory reductions, not any significant deviation in end-user demand. INTC is not going to let a few weeks of excess inventory slow down their pace of capital expansion.

Of course, the market won't likely see that angle for a while. INTC will have to "surprise" to the upside when they release real earnings, which is quite possible given the gloomy picture they painted today.
