(Correction: Re: Worst case maybe a 10% hit - around 2-2.5 bucks or 21.5 - 22. Looks like we are already there - at 22 1/2! So perhaps drive that down to 20-21?)

shane, INTC says the problem is lower revenues with US, Europe weak
and Southeast Asia not especially weak. Problem also with costs due
to one-time acquisition of Chips & Technology (which I gladly gave to
them at $17.50). I agree with you. The revenue thing is due to the
great number of sub-$1000 PCs that were sold, not unit volume. This
would seem to be a systemic problem going forward. It is a problem
that INTC will lick and starting this summer INTC's stock will again
rise due to cheap money-making chips with 2D & 3D graphics and the
corporation's costs back under control.
