DONT YOU GUYS think that all this bad news about "high inventory levels" etc has already been built into the CPQ stock price. This was the reason why we took a 15% haircut from 34 to 29. Now, dont you think that INTC is repeating the same story. I dont see a reason why CPQ will drop like a rock. It might touch 27. Thats it. Wishful thinking???

Intel was once below $70 in January. Is this time going to be much worse, with Asia market recovering? I doubt it.

COMPAQ files for Chapter 11.....

Oh, sorry, just thought with all this gloom and doom
over the recent bloodbath that such a headline was
waiting for me tomorrow in the financial pages. Yeah,
I'm pi--ed too, cuz I'm in at 33 and more at 36 just last
month. But I really don't think that 5 years from now it
will matter. I hope that anyone who bought CPQ for whatever
price however long ago was of the opinion that years from
now it will reward investors. I can't afford to worry week
to week. Of course working for Lucent and having a ton of
money in LU in my 401k makes things tolerable as well.
Besides, stuff like this has to happen to follow the first rule
of investing (which I didn't do too well with CPQ). buy low
and sell high(er). I'm in for more after it bases in the mid
20's. I saw SFAM tank 50% after I bought it, and I held on as
it went up 500% afterwards. It's tech, it's volatile, such is
life. If I get cancer, then I'll start getting upset about things.

Windseye... Also just came back from dinner.

My sense of humor is underwater somewhere on
the Titanic. I'm still above water. How come the
"California" or "Carpathia" (statement from CPQ)
aren't answering?...(S-O-S ... --- ... S-O-S "Save our Stock" )

Looking down below, your life raft has sprung a leak.
The water is getting higher....

Where's that salvage crew. <ggg>

Was a hint of the INTC information brought out
by ML analysts?
